Jake is an amazing teacher. I took his beginning hunting class this past Sunday and learnt so much while out in the woods. His enthusiasm and passion for the great outdoors spilled over to the entire group. As a child, I always wanted to hunt, but never had an adult who could show me the ropes. Learning to track deer, find scrapes and rubs, locate/identify food resources and understand binding your scent through wind placement was all covered in this 8 hour class. Now I have the confidence to get out into the woods on foot and actively participate in hunting. Thank you so much Jake! Can’t wait to get out there in a few weeks!

Jake provided an unreal trip for a group of 5 of us this past weekend. None of us had been ice fishing before and we will 100% be using Cast and Call Guide Service again! Jake made the days logistics very easy for us. He taught us the basics of fishing early in the day, encouraged everyone and sprinkled in knowledge through the day. I've known Jake for several years now, and if there's one thing I've learned about him it's that he's very passionate about hunting a fishing. He loves to share his expansive knowledge with others, and he has a happy, energetic personality that is magnetic. Being a Registered Hunting and Fishing Guide myself for several years, I can think of no other guide whom I'd refer anyone to before I'd send them to Jake. I have no doubt that anyone who takes the time to build a relationship with him will learn a treasure trove of information concerning the outdoors. He's a true professional in every aspect. My kids and I (daughter 10, son 8) visit Maine each summer and for the last 2, Jake has been our fishing guide. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a fishing excursion with kids. Jake is professional, great with kids and makes our outings fun. He has great fishing skills and we always learn a ton about finding fish and trying new approaches. I found Jake by chance on Facebook this past winter and set up a summer fishing trip for my father-in-law's retirement and couldn't be happier. Jake met us at the boat ramp and took us out for the day. He had all of his gear and we were on the fish in a short time. We moved and tried deeper water and different lures throughout the day. Had an absolute blast with Cast and Call Guide Service. Jake is a knowledgeable outdoorsman who taught us the ins and out's of the field from start to finish. We went out for turkeys in the morning and took the canoes out and got into a whole mess of fish. Jake is a great guide and better person. 5 out of 5 would recommend!
